Biography[]

Amelia Rose Blaire is an actress and producer.[3] Blaire was born in New York and raised in the Los Angeles area. She practiced ballet when she was younger with the desire to become a ballerina. However, after an appearance during a high school production of "Bye Bye Birdie" as vaudeville dancer, she decided to pursue a career in acting.[4] At fifteen, Blaire studied the Meisner technique at the Sanford Meisner Center for the Arts, interested in adult classes as opposed to courses within her age group.[4]

She was an exception to the center's rule to not accepting anyone under the age of eighteen. She remained at the Meisner Center for two years before graduating. She also graduated from the Atlantic Acting School's two and half year program in New York and Los Angeles.[4]

Blaire's on-screen career began in 2002 with a guest appearance on the medical drama Strong Medicine. She had a reoccurring role on the CW series, 90210 as Laura Mathison. She made various guest appearances on television series such as Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise, Drop Dead Diva, The Mentalist and Grey's Anatomy.[3] She is best known for her role in True Blood as Willa Burrell[3], and Piper Shaw in Scream: The TV Series.[3]
