Brooke Nevin is a Canadian television and film actor. She portrays Emily Burke in the Quantum Break television series.[2]

Biography[]

Nevin was born December 22, 1982 to parents Monique and Robert Nevin and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is the eldest of two girls and speaks fluent French. Her father was a captain for the New York Rangers and played for three other hockey teams, two of them being the Toronto Maple Leafs and Los Angeles Kings. Nevin attended Leaside High School in Toronto, two years behind Laura Bertram.[1]

Nevin's on-screen career began in 1996 with the teen-focused television talk show Jonovision. From she made guest appearances on series such as Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark. In 1998, Nevin landed a lead role in Nickelodeon's live-action adaptation of K.A. Applegate's Animorphs as Rachel Berenson. The series ran for two seasons before its cancellation 1999.[1]

Nevin's other notable roles as a series regular include Breakout Kings as Julianne Simms, Sonja Lester in Call Me Fitz and Nikki Hudson on USA's The 4400.[1]
