During the early production of Quantum Break, Anthony was cast as Jack Remedy Entertainment's "Guided Experience" demo. The demo, funded by Microsoft Studios, was meant to demonstrate what the game could become under Remedy's development.[13] When the game entered later development, Anthony was replaced with American actor Sean Durrie, who was the second "prototype" actor portray Jack Joyce.[2][13], Durrie was later recast in a supporting role as Jack Joyce was always intended to be portrayed by Canadian actor, Shawn Ashmore.
