Kyle Rowley is a video game developer who was the lead designer for Quantum Break. He left Remedy Entertainment to work as the Lead Designer for CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077.[2][1] He returned to Remedy as Game Director for Alan Wake II.

Biography[]

Rowley received a general education at Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College from 1996 to 2001 and Worcester College of Technology from 2002 to 2004. The earliest part of his career in games development was as a Q/A tester at Lionhead Studios, Electronic Arts, and Codemasters from late 2005 to early 2006.[1]

While working for Codemasters, Rowley became the Community Liaison Manager and maintained his position until December of 2007. He moved on from there and joined Frontier Developments as a designer for the next three years. In August 2011 he was promoted to Senior Designer. May 2012, Rowley went on to work with Crytek as a designer for Homefront 2.[1]

He worked for seven months at Jagex until July 2013. In August of the same year, he went on to work with Remedy Entertainment as a Senior Gameplay Designer and was later promoted to Lead Designer in 2015. July 2016, Rowley was later hired by CD Projekt RED to work on their upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077.[2][1]
