Petri Alanko is a Finnish composer and producer.[1] He provided the score for the video game, Quantum Break.[2]

Biography[]

Petri Alanko is a BAFTA nominated Finnish composer, musician and producer, best known for his work on the 2010 video game Alan Wake, developed by Remedy Entertainment.[3] Since Alan Wake Alanko has collaborated often with Remedy Entertainment, providing music for older releases such as Death Rally, and the 2012 Xbox Live Arcade game Alan Wake's American Nightmare.

In 2012, he began composition work for Quantum Break, providing music for much of the game's early development, as featured in the May 2013 Announcement Trailer, E3 2013 Cinematic Trailer and the 2014 Gamescom demo. The original soundtrack for Quantum Break was released alongside the game on April 5, 2016 as a digital download, and physical and vinyl releases.

In addition to his work for Remedy Entertainment, Alenko has composed music for the arcade game, Trials Fusion for the Xbox One in 2014. In 2004 one of his first projects was the 2004 Finnish film, Vares: Private Eye[4] In 206 he worked on the television series Studio Impossible[5] and the 2012 Finnish musical Imaginaerum.[6]
